SAVE A KITTY HELPS TO SHUT DOWN A HORRIFIC CAT HOARDING SITUATION IN GRANADA HILLS

Save A Kitty, Inc., was tipped about a horrific cat hoarding situation in Granada Hills, California.  What we found inside was terrible.

In many cases, hoarders can start out as well-intentioned individuals who just get in over-their-head.  This was NOT the case in this instance.  These poor cats were not even remotely being cared for: none were spayed or neutered, the cats and kittens were starving to death, and all of them were extremely sick and either dying or already dead.

With the help of SPCA and many local Southern California rescue groups, Save A Kitty did not stop until every cat was out of that horrific situation.  Within a month, Save A Kitty, Inc. had spent over $4,000 on medical expenses.

While the hoarder refused to allow the cameras inside the home, we did get some video of the operation outside.

It is so good that there are still people who want to help to cats and other animals in help.

Thank you. We do our best, but unfortunately there are so many homeless animals and too few wonderful homes. We often say that while we may not change the world, we certainly change the world for those animals we are able to save. Thanks for caring about these innocent creatures. Sue - Save A Kitty.
