Save A Kitty, Inc., was tipped about a horrific cat hoarding situation in Granada Hills, California. What we found inside was terrible.
In many cases, hoarders can start out as well-intentioned individuals who just get in over-their-head. This was NOT the case in this instance. These poor cats were not even remotely being cared for: none were spayed or neutered, the cats and kittens were starving to death, and all of them were extremely sick and either dying or already dead.
With the help of SPCA and many local Southern California rescue groups, Save A Kitty did not stop until every cat was out of that horrific situation. Within a month, Save A Kitty, Inc. had spent over $4,000 on medical expenses.
While the hoarder refused to allow the cameras inside the home, we did get some video of the operation outside.

KITTEN SEASON IS UPON US
We usually have kittens year-round, but many more in spring, summer, and fall.
Right now, we are busy trapping at a feral colony in San Fernando. Aside from many adults being fixed and vaccinated, we have taken out a few litters of kittens. Below is some footage of our recent trapping escapades, once ready these kitties will go up for adoption. The fluff puffs in the round bed are now down to 2. The ragdolls found their forever home.
If you are interested in adopting one of our beautiful kitties, please see our Event page to find out when and where we will be holding adoptions so you can come and see our beautiful kitties in person.
